Kerri Ann Campbell
I received my MS in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and my BS in Psychology from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. My background and multicultural experiences have given me the opportunity to work in a diverse range of settings with individuals, families and children. I have extensive experience working with military personal and family related issues with specialization in anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, parenting, stress and anger management. Life is a journey and sometimes adjusting to changes in our lives can be overwhelming. Sometimes we need a listening ear, a safe place to be heard and given the support needed in that moment and beyond. My goal as your counselor is to provide a multicultural perspective and support needed on your life journey to assist you with adjusting to changes in order to enjoy a more fulfilling and flourishing life. My approach is collaborative, client-centered, trauma informed and strengthened based. My role as a counselor is to help clients build connections within themselves and others. I seek to create an atmosphere for a safe environment with a non-judgmental space for clients to share and be heard. I approach therapy in a direct way to challenge clients to meet their potential and meet their goals. I promote honesty for yourself to create open communication and direction to shift in a positive way with improved insight and awareness of what is meaningful for them on their life journey.
