Are you carrying the weight of past hurts from those closest to you? Life can leave us with deep wounds, especially when the pain comes from those we love and trust the most — whether it's a parent, partner, or someone else close to us. Navigating through this can be incredibly challenging, often leaving you questioning your worth, your ability to trust others, and battling big, confusing emotions.
That’s where I come in!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’m committed to walking alongside you on your unique path to recovery, offering a compassionate space where you can navigate these waters of trauma and work toward healing. My mind-body approach is centered on understanding how trauma is stored in the body, and how it affects your relationships with others and with yourself. In 2022, I was trained in SAFE (Somatic and Attachment Focused) EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, which is a therapeutic approach that helps you get unstuck from the past while addressing the areas of your life impacted by trauma and stress.
My time in mental health began after I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2019 with a Master’s degree in Social Work. I spent the first two years of my career in community mental health, providing group and individual therapy for clients with a variety of mental health concerns, such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and various personality disorders. I transitioned into private practice in 2021, where I’ve focused on supporting women who are recovering from interpersonal trauma. I am licensed in Colorado, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida, and I have dedicated my career to helping women rebuild trust, rediscover their self-worth, and navigate the challenges of depression and anxiety that often accompany trauma.
In our work together, you’ll find a therapeutic relationship that is supportive, challenging, and even a bit humorous at times — because healing doesn’t always have to be so heavy. Together, we’ll work on empowering you to break free from the past, rebuild your relationships, and reclaim the life you deserve.
