Kimberly Nemec
I received a Master of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Houston in 1992 and in 1999 became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas with supervisor status. I have been in private practice for the last 20 years. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults struggling with various behavioral and emotional concerns such as attachment and adjustment issues, ADHD, depression and anxiety. I approach counseling from a cognitive behavioral perspective and surmise that many behaviors are a direct result of thoughts, emotions and environmental influences. My personal faith is integrated in my counseling process which is from a Biblical worldview. I firmly believe that our most pure form of hope is found in Christ. Be assured that I will work with you with respect and humility, no matter your religious, ethnic or cultural background. I provide a compassionate, connected and hope-filled counseling experience for my clients. Seeking counseling is a very personal decision.
