Do you struggle with worry or stress? Do you sometimes lose sleep, become unfocused or distracted, or is being present and calm around other people challenging? Sometimes, after a period of struggle (like a loss, divorce, or extended work stress), we can forget what it was like to not struggle. To find that calm again, to reclaim who we used to be, can help us move forward. My work is trauma informed to support healing and I also do cognitive behavioral work to challenge negative beliefs and create new ones. Mindfulness based practices are used to make lifestyle changes and cause long lasting change. The work I do with clients centers around learning how to feel calm and connected again.
