Laurie Gallagher
I have been in practice for 25+ years. I come from a strength-based, positive psychology and family systems background. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves and make changes necessary to feel more content, fulfilled and connected with those around them. My specialty is working with college-age and post college adults and couples. I specialize in treating anxiety, communications and relationships skills. I approach therapy from a strength-based position. I also used narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy and compassion-focused therapy. I am trauma-informed and imbed that in my practice, as well. My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood and valued. In addition, I would like them to come away from therapy with a larger tool-box, including stronger communication and relationship-building skills.
