Lindsay Sova
Hi! My name is Lindsay and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado in 2006. In 2010, I completed my Masters of Social Work Degree from the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver. Some of my specializations include working with trauma, anxiety and depression, and individuals who struggle with chronic shame. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) since 2015. Seeking therapy is less about ‘fixing’ ourselves and more about learning to acknowledge discomfort. This is so we can unlock barriers that may be getting in the way of living the life we want. Whether you are navigating shame and self-judgement, anxiety or depression, the effects of trauma, or craving a deeper connection with yourself and others, my therapy style is that of a deep commitment to holding space for you to explore, and when ready, heal discomfort and connect to your true self. I am passionate about creating a strong therapeutic relationship where each client feels seen, valued, nurtured, and cared for. I will meet you with warmth and non-judgement as we explore the root causes of your discomfort and unfold how our past echoes forward into our future. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative process between the therapist and client, so in therapy, we start where you want to start. I am here to support you with thoughtful and engaging guidance. Come join me!
