I am a compassionate, non-judgmental therapist with over 14 years of both educational and personal experience. I am happy that you have decided to reach out for help and wanting to make some positive changes in your life. We will always work at a pace that you are comfortable with. I will teach you coping skills that you can use daily and we will devise a plan together to help you move forward in life. My job is to guide you on this journey to begin living your best life! I take an eclectic approach to therapy by using several different techniques to create a treatment plan that is specialized for each individual that I work with. Primarily I use CBT, Client-Centered and Solution-Focused therapy when beginning to work with someone. I have worked in the field of substance abuse for 10 years. I was a lead therapist for a national research study on ADHD. I have also worked with individuals to address issues of anxiety, depressive symptoms and relationship problems. You can expect compassion, open-communication and a bit of humor in our sessions. You can also expect to learn specific coping skills that will help you to ease any symptoms of anxiety or depression that you may be experiencing.
