Lorraine Good
I attended La Salle University (MA in Marriage and Family Therapy) and Regis University (postgrad certificate in Counseling Children and Adolecence). I work with individuals ages 3-25 & families in all stages of the family life cycle. I have extensive experience working with individuals and families impacted by trauma. I support kids impacted by anxiety & depression, families adjusting to divorce, death, or navigating gender and sexuality differences (in both parents and children). I believe that we all have within us the ability to heal and grow, though sometimes it can be hard to find. As a therapist, my job is to create the right environment to access that innate ability. I view emotions as signposts leading us to our needs and self-beliefs. Trained in art, play and sand tray therapies, I use these modalities, as well as traditional talk therapy, to create an accepting and judgement free environment to explore, heal, and grow. My intention in my practice is to provide a safe haven for children and their parents to explore their experiences, strengthen relationships, and create a new understanding and language that unifies the family in support of each other.
