I have over 40 years experience in substance abuse counseling. I have set up proven treatment programs used by the US Military and Department of Corrections throughout my career. I have a great passion for helping to treatment individuals struggling with substance abuse to reclaim their lives. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their journey towards recovery. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. My counseling style is collaborative and client-centered. I work closely with each individual to tailor treatment to their unique needs. I believe in the power of building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, mutual respect, and genuine empathy. Outcomes include gaining a deeper understanding of their thoughts, emotions, & behaviors related to substance use and other areas of their lives. Exploring underlying factors contributing to substance abuse, developing insight into patterns & triggers, empowering them to make change. Clients will increase their motivation to change & belief in their ability to overcome obstacles. Addressing underlying mental health issues, trauma, & co-occurring disorders, clients experience greater stability.
