I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner with extensive experience with adults from all backgrounds in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. My approach is adaptive and holistic, incorporating medication, therapy, and lifestyle interventions. Accepting new clients in Washington (in-person and tele) & New York (tele, no controlled rx). I enjoy working with adult clients of all backgrounds who are motivated to take action to improve their mental health. Working with clients who are pregnant, parents or who are in other phases of active growth and change (ie young adulthood, life transitions such as retirement) is particularly gratifying and has been a focus of my practice in recent years. I have significant experience working with persons affected by traumatic experiences and find the work of reconciling that context with new phases of life to be an awesome opportunity for healing if handled with thoughtful care. I aim to empower clients to choose tools to help them on their journey to improve their mental health -I want clients to feel confident in any decisions we make about medication together, and to feel very comfortable bringing up concerns with me.
