I am passionate about helping people live a life of joy, peace and wholeness. Personal transformation and healing, changes the the way you feel about yourself, others and subsequently the world. I work with individuals who need to heal their wounds by helping them to identify root causes, break negatives patterns, see things from a different perspective, and live life fully. With empathy, I strategically walk alongside my clients to guide them in implementing change. I provide a safe space for my clients to overcome depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, grief, abuse, and other painful life challenges.
I graduated with a Master’s of Social Work in 1995 and have over 20 years’ experience working with men and women facing a variety of challenges. I utilize an eclectic style of therapy that may include analyzing your; childhood, family dynamics, and/or past experiences. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, MIndfulness, and other techniques. You are unique and so are your struggles. We will work together, as a team, to discover the solutions which are distinctive to your human story. I will incorporate a style that best works for you. I incorporate faith-based counseling with clients who request it. I also am culturally sensitive to help others from diverse backgrounds.
We all need support at different times in life. When we are battling with things like; anger and sadness, important relationships, fatigue from depression, paralyzing fear, or other issues that hold us back, it can be difficult to reach out for help. If your current way of dealing with life’s challenges no longer work, do not feel hopeless. Take the first step today toward your journey of healing and wholeness. With a caring, non-judgmental & solution-focused approach, we will explore your issues, concerns, and challenges in a safe environment. I know the first step can seem scary and overwhelming, and I would be honored if you would trust me to take that first step together.
