Matthew Tutterow
I have a wealth of experience working with individuals from all walks of life across virtually every level of care you can imagine. From acute inpatient care, intensive outpatient care, partial hospitalization care, to standard individual outpatient care. With a wide rage for populations including people experiencing homelessness, young adult, university students, active duty military, LGBTQ individuals, as well as high risk populations. My therapeutic style, like most modern therapists, can best be described as an integrated approach, blending elements from multiple theoretical frameworks and paradigms. Drawing most heavily upon Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (D.B.T.) with elements of Motivation Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (C.B.T.), Solutions-focused Therapy, among others, I seek to meet patients where they are at through lens which utilizes the Person-In-Environment Theory as its binding agent. I want to meet my clients where they are at, understand them where they are at in their life and what informs their behaviors, views, and feelings. With that I hope you use my expertise and diverse intervention training to develop a plan to attack what is at the root of your problems so that we can collaboratively begin to improve your life! All of this is done in nonjudgemental and open approach where feedback flows both ways and trust is built as cornerstone to your success.
