Hi, I'm Megan. I'm a licensed clinical social worker and board-certified health coach with nearly two decades of experience helping people just like you and me live healthier, happier, more authentic lives. I completed my graduate studies at the University of Maryland School of Social Work, and have completed various extensive advanced trainings in mindfulness, trauma, mental health nutrition, and women’s health. My holistic, individualized approach is rooted in evidence-based research, neuroscience, mindfulness and spirituality, and lifestyle medicine. I draw from my clinical training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), attachment theory, and mind-body psychotherapy to support clients dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, and problematic drinking. I’m pretty down-to-earth and believe in the healing and connective power of humor while we dive into the tough stuff. My hope is that my clients start to feel better pretty quickly with tools and techniques that work for them, while we work to improve self-care, self-compassion, and self-acceptance.
