Melissa Beaird
My name is Melissa and I have been a therapist for over 35 years. I began my career by working in the recovery field as a primary therapist and then as the Director of the Family Program. I opened a private practice that lasted for 22 years working with individuals and families dealing with chronic stress, depression, codependency and trauma. I then began working at a children’s hospital as a counselor for families with critically ill children. I have recently returned to private practice. My approach to therapy is to meet a client where they are at the current time with compassion encouragement. I will bring experience to help guide you to healthy coping skills, and tools to help process your journey in a trusting environment.
