In 2015, I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Now as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) I have been working in individual practice for eight years though community mental health centers in my area. I primarily work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, addictions, and PTSD.
I focus on working with adults, using cognitive therapy to help my clients think about the issues they’re facing from a different lens. By changing the way you think, you can feel empowered to enact great change in your life. I utilize dialectical behavior therapy for those individuals that struggle with regulating their emotions. I am trained in EMDR. I also practice using motivational interviewing, which helps you find the internal motivation to help resolve uncertain feelings to change behaviors. I will always vow to work towards developing a trusting relationship in which you feel heard. Together, we can break down the seemingly overwhelming barriers you feel in your life.
