I have been a licensed professional counselor, for over 30 years. I help couples who are in intercultural/ interfaith relationships. I help them resolve conflict and find harmony in their relationships. Also, I specialize in stress management and can help you manage work-related illnesses such as anxiety, and depression and somatic disorders. I use an eclectic approach such as solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy. I also use listening and motivational interviewing as a method to get unstuck. In grief cases, I use poetry as a medium for healing. My style is to be affirming, listen but also provide direct feedback as needed. You can expect to be heard, affirmed and challenged to try new things. A sense of hope and excitement to try something new. I use poetry as a medium to unlock potential. For those who are business minded, I have a certification from Harvard Business School Online in Sustainable Business Strategy. I use sustainability as a source of energy and renewal to build your future. I find those concepts to help in maintaining energy and life work balance.
