I love meeting new people and learning about their experiences. I've worked in many different areas and types of service agencies. Over time I’ve come to deeply respect the work of Drs. John and Julie Gottman as well as Dr. David Burns. I have nowhere near their skill level but I love to practice and see people find insight and resolution to the patterns that have bothered them for so long. Our thoughts and behaviors are a powerful combination to interrupt frustrating patterns around anxiety. If you want relief from anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or grief I can help you find it. Some of us feel poorly with no explanation, maybe you think you shouldn't feel the way you do. I will be able to guide you to the clues you need. If you are looking for ways to strengthen your marriage/couple relationship, I can show you how. some clues to help you find more joy in your life. I'm going to ask a lot of questions in each session because I believe I should assume very little about your perspective. The thoroughness I use, I hope you will mimic, in order to better understand your own motives and self defeating beliefs. My main goal is to understand you, what you've been working on, and where you would like to go. For couples I expect to take 6-12 sessions and for individuals I expect to take 4-10 sessions. The schedule is up to you.
