The unhealed parts of our past, impact our ability to respond while thriving, causing reactions in order to survive, how are your unhealed parts showing up?

In 2018, I graduated with a Master of Social Work degree concentrating in Public Health, from Morgan State University in Baltimore Maryland. As a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C), I have been in private practice for 4 years now. I retired May 2021 from active duty in the US Navy after over 20 years of honorable service, having served the last 6 years as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (ADC I), providing addictions treatment, therapy and psycho-education to active duty, military retirees and other Tricare beneficiaries. I am experienced in working with diverse populations treating depression, anxiety, trauma, financial wellness, addictions and family issues, in individual, group and/or family/couples therapy sessions.

It would be an honor for me to work with you in order to create a safe, non-judgmental, space for me to hold for you, as you begin the healing process necessary to support positive change. Allow me to walk alongside you on your journey of self discovery and healing, while shifting from surviving to thriving.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
