I’ve been married for over 20 years and have 2 wonderful children: 16- year-old daughter and 11-year-old son. Prior to having children, I received my Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2001. I started my career by working with children and families who were impacted by poverty, mental health, substance abuse, and other psychosocial stressors. In 2015, I continued my career in social work and currently serve clients in a residential setting who are struggling with substance abuse, mental health, and PTSD. I’m trained and specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression, Insomnia, Suicide Prevention as well as Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD. To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
