Hi! I'm here to introduce myself and share a little bit about me in hopes I'll be a good fit as your therapist! My name is Paige, I am a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland. I am passionate about working with young adults and individuals of all ages, offering support throughout your unique mental health journeys. I am a younger mother to a son under one and hold a personal interest in physical fitness and mindfulness as a daily practice.
I firmly believe that each person's path to healing is distinct, and as such, I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet your individual needs. My practice is rooted in trauma-informed care, emphasizing empathy, safety, and understanding. I myself appreciate transparency in treatment goals and assessments and do my best to provide that to clients.
I have worked in a variety of settings, including emergency rooms, where I provided essential care to individuals facing mental health crises and addictive behaviors. On medical floors, I supported clients dealing with both physical and emotional challenges. Additionally, I've worked in correctional settings, offering therapy to individuals within state hospitals and outpatient programs, particularly those with serious mental health concerns and addictive behaviors.
My most recent experience has been in providing therapy to women across the perinatal spectrum. This includes those who are trying to conceive, those who have experienced loss, pregnant women, and individuals navigating the postpartum period. I am here to support you during these pivotal moments in your life, providing a safe space to explore your emotions and find strength during these transitions.
I am committed to inclusivity and have worked with individuals of all genders, sexual identities, religions, and age groups, spanning from adolescents to seniors aged 65 and beyond. I believe that diversity is one of our greatest strengths, and I embrace the opportunity to learn from each person I work with.
If you are ready to share your struggles and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing go ahead and select us as a match. Together, we can explore your unique experiences, build resilience, and work toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.
