Today's changing world has led to struggles with loss, grief and transition. These struggles threaten our physical, mental/spiritual health. When we are desperate for relief, poor coping can lead to devastating consequences i.e. addiction, depression, physical health issues, and other self-destructive behaviors. I believe that addiction affects the mind, body and spirit and is potentially life-threatening but treatable. Recovery is achieving one's best self physically, mentally and spiritually. In my practice, I believe in treating the whole person. We cannot be our best selves unless we address our mind and body. I help clients address pain associated with loss of loved ones, including pet loss, loss of health, and/or loss of control over one's behavior. I use an ecletic approach with emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies. Whether you are suffering with addiction, depression, anxiety, stress overload or frequent physical illness, change is possible with time and support. Your concerns will be kept in strict confidence.
