I am an experienced clinician who has worked with individuals and couples to help them achieve better mental health and emotional balance. I use traditional psychotherapeutic techniques of CBT, Behavior Modification, or Cognitive therapy to relieve symptoms and help clients reset a positive path forward. I became a clinician because I believe that empathy, positive regard, and honesty can be used effectively to help others. I have worked in different settings in the fields of health and mental health, providing individual, marital, and family therapy to adults. I have also worked as a medical social worker and geriatric care manager and can offer assistance and creative solutions for problems associated with illness and the aging process. I believe that therapy is no more than listening effectively, providing constructive feedback, and helping unpack complicated situations to examine options and pick the best path forward. There are no right or wrong choices, just what makes sense and works for you. I have the training and knowledge to help make sense of painful and stressful issues.
