Do you feel that you are not worthy of help or that they have no value, or are not likely to speak up and seek the help you need? Are you living with mental health illness in silence, are you afraid of many possible repercussions like limited career advancement opportunities, employment discrimination, exclusion from social circles, loss of spouse/partner, and judgment from the religious community? Matthew 11:28. “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest.” My name is Pauline Ekeh PMHNP-BC. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner licensed and board certified in the state of New Jersey to provide psychiatric care for clients with mental illness. I have experience with a wide variety of individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma and grief/loss. I have experience with adolescents and adults from different cultures and backgrounds. I am pleased to support my clients through difficult mental health symptoms, and I bring knowledgeable and compassionate perspectives to client care. I like when my clients ask questions, and I'm always happy to address their concerns. My passion is helping people with mental illness. I want my clients to feel empowered because their symptoms leave them feeling powerless. One of my most important roles as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is to instill hope in my clients.
