Hi there. My name is Pearl Ezegrim, and I am a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating various mental health conditions. I provide mental health care for patients across the life span– Toddlers, Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Seniors. Effective therapy is the main mental disorder treatment. But some people require a little more than just counseling. How would you determine whether taking medications would be beneficial? Do you experience mood instability, PTSD, anxiety, or depression? Do you think that life is difficult and that you are always sad? Do you simply want to feel joyful again? I'm here to travel this path alongside you. I have over 6 years of healthcare experience. I obtained Bachelor's in nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 2015 and Masters in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from The Walden University in 2021. Being exposed to ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Mood Disorders, Schizophrenia, Insomnia, Alzheimer's, Dementia, and PTSD on a theoretical, clinical, and personal level has given me a well-rounded medication management experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. We aim to include only high quality providers and multiple viable options for those seeking care.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub’s educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don’t, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
