Hi! My name is Rachael, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I have worked in the mental health field for ten years. I have a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Georgia and I've worked primarily with adolescents and adults. My experience includes working with issues involving anger management, life transitions and stressors, substance use/abuse, trauma, depression, grief and loss, and anxiety. I've learned that I am drawn to and typically use an eclectic approach. In therapy, I draw from different theories and techniques to best address your presenting concern(s). We are all unique and what works for one person, may not be the right approach for someone else. I believe that we each have the ability to create positive change in our lives, sometimes we just need a little support and encouragement during that process. I look forward to working with you.
