My name is Rachel Nguyen, LMHC. I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I have 12 years of experience. My specialties exist in treating individuals who have unprocessed trauma or PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, Autism/ADHD/Sensory processing disorder or "neurodivergent" individuals.

I use CBT, DBT and solution focused therapies to best meet my clients mental health treatment goals. Research shows that these approaches work for most mental health conditions. I also utilize behavioral therapy and accommodations for Autism and ADHD.

I have 12 years of experience working in the mental health and behavioral health field. I have a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a second Masters degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis.

I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, school, home, crisis and private practice facilities. I have experience working with a large spectrum of people with various mental health and developmental conditions or disorders.

I have experience working with children, adults, families and couples. Currently I work solely with adults (18 and over).

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
