I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with over 18 years experience working with diverse adult populations. My aim is to help you live a more examined life; to be accountable to yourself. This helps you set reasonable goals for yourself, to have healthier boundaries with others, and to let go of what is no longer serving you. I do so by helping patients increase self-awareness and learn new skills via psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and interpersonal therapies. I approach this work non-judgmentally and with compassion. Initial sessions may bring up more difficult feelings or thoughts. This is normal when you're focusing on the problem, maybe for the first time. You'll have a new partner in solving challenges. I won't solve your problems. You will! My hope is that each successive session leads you to develop greater skills and to feel more empowered to overcome the challenges you bring to treatment. My goal is to put myself out of a job, and for you to leave therapy feeling satisfied and more at peace.
