Rebecca Chermak
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida and masters and doctoral degrees at Nova Southeastern University. I have been working in the field of psychology for over a decade in a variety of settings. At my own private practice, Confidential Counseling & Coaching, I focus on helping those who may be feeling “stuck”, struggling with phase of life transitions, low or anxious mood, relationship/family distress, body image and/or eating concerns, and stress management. I utilizes evidence-based treatment interventions that are solution-focused in nature to help each person work through their concerns and find effective ways to cope and move forward in a meaningful way. "The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination." - Carl Rogers In the first session, I get to know more about and what led you to pursue therapy. By the end of the first session we will talk about goals for therapy and how best to move forward. Then comes some hard and gratifying work on yourself, tackling each presenting concern together as a team to hopefully lead towards a better understanding of yourself and how best to move forward in your life.
