Reinna Albornoz
I want my clients to know that I truly care about their healing and restoration —whether it’s their marriage, their sense of self, or both. I specialize in working with couples who are on the brink of separation or divorce , helping them navigate the pain of betrayal trauma and rediscover connection, trust, and hope. I also work with women who have experienced trauma and are struggling with CPTSD , supporting them as they rebuild their confidence, safety, and inner peace. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy because I believe relationships—whether with a spouse or with oneself—are at the core of healing. My approach is warm, empathetic, and grace-filled , creating a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make lasting changes. What matters most to me is helping people feel safe, valued, and capable of healing . Most importantly, I want my clients to know that hope is not lost . I’ve seen marriages come back from the hardest places, and I’ve seen women reclaim their strength after deep pain. If you’re feeling stuck, broken, or unsure of what’s next, I want you to know— there’s a path forward, and you don’t have to walk it alone . My approach to therapy is warm, empathetic, and deeply relational . I believe that healing happens in the context of safe, secure connections , whether that’s in marriage or within oneself. That’s why I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) —an evidence-based approach that helps couples and individuals identify negative cycles, heal attachment wounds, and create deeper, more meaningful bonds. For couples , my focus is on helping partners move from pain, disconnection, and betrayal trauma toward trust, intimacy, and emotional safety . I guide couples through the hard conversations, helping them express their needs in a way that fosters understanding and healing rather than more conflict. For women who have experienced trauma and are struggling with CPTSD , my approach is compassionate and client-centered . I help women process their pain, regain a sense of safety, and rebuild their confidence and self-worth. I understand that trauma changes how we see ourselves and the world, and my goal is to create a space where healing and empowerment are possible. I offer biblically sound support for those who want it . However, I honor and respect each client’s unique values, and faith-based discussions are never required. My priority is to be a counselor where every client feels heard, supported, and encouraged. No matter where you’re starting from, there is hope, and healing is possible . My role is to walk alongside you, helping you find clarity, connection, and lasting transformation. Clients can expect to walk away with a renewed sense of hope, clarity, and emotional connection —whether they’re working on saving their marriage or healing from trauma. For couples , I help break the painful cycles of disconnection and conflict, guiding them toward trust, intimacy, and emotional safety . Clients learn how to communicate their needs in a way that fosters understanding rather than defensiveness, rebuild broken trust after betrayal, and create a marriage rooted in love, grace, and security . For women healing from trauma and CPTSD , I provide tools to regain a sense of control, confidence, and self-worth . My clients leave with a deeper understanding of how their experiences have shaped them, as well as the skills to navigate triggers, set healthy boundaries, and cultivate inner peace. Whether in marriage or personal healing, my goal is for clients to feel seen, supported, and empowered —knowing that healing is not only possible but within reach . You don’t have to stay stuck in pain; there is a way forward, and I’m here to help you find it .
