My areas of clinical focus are depression, anxiety, stress and ADD/ADHD. I am a culturally competent therapist and have experience with adults from all walks of life. I have found that the use of technology has greatly improved the ability of therapists and clients to collaborate in mental health treatment. I will often use multimodal strategies to keep you engaged and to increase the understanding of your patterns of behavior, such as videos and worksheets. My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused. We will use a variety of therapeutic approaches to best address your concerns, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing. You can expect my communication style to be warm, direct, non-judgmental, and compassionate. I believe therapy is more productive if the environment feels comfortable, open, and relatable.
