I specialize in working with teens and young adults who have experienced trauma and those who struggle with anxiety and depression. As a neurodiversity affirming therapist, I enjoy assisting clients in identifying goals and creative ways of reaching them. ADHD and Autism often do not present in "textbook" ways, especially in women and those assigned female at birth. In these cases, it is my goal to validate experiences, utilize strengths and support individuals in moving toward goals. I utilize a strength based and trauma informed approach with clients. I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems and play therapy and incorporate aspects of these when appropriate. During sessions, we will explore current and past stressors and identify both short and long term goals. My goal is to create a safe space for my clients to explore and process experiences, relationships, emotions and to learn more about themselves.
