Hello! My name is Sarah and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Texas. I received my masters in social work from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2016 and have completed over 3000 clinical supervision hours. I am currently pending my PhD in medical Social Work with an anticipated graduation date of 2023. At this time, I specialize in treatment with military families, veterans, and special populations. my primary focus is to help people who are suffering from depression, anxiety, and individual trauma. I like to approach therapy from an individual perspective that is appropriate for the patient and describe myself as an advocate during their growth. clients can expect a challenging, direct, yet rewarding, therapeutic experience. As a systems therapist, my job is to gather both biological and environmental factors that contribute to the issues we experience today. I am a firm believer that the environments we surround our self with have a structural impact on our views and perspectives of the world. It is my hope that I am able to challenge negative thoughts, and begin working towards a a new path of healing.
