Shannon Harris
I am a licensed Clinical Social Work. I have a Masters in Social Work from the University of Wyoming. My experience is supporting clients affected by chronic or serious illness, and their loved ones. I work with clients who are navigating grief and loss, help them understand why grief impacts their life, and find ways to survive the waves of grief. I have worked in hospital, hospice, and dialysis settings over my 20+ career. One of my priorities is that you feel heard. I focus on adults using cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and reframing to help with the emotions and thoughts you are struggling with. We will work together to address challenges such as setting boundaries; limiting negative self talk, learning to feel your emotions in a safe way, meeting goals, learn skills to manage anxiety and stress. I believe that everyone experiences life differently, and in creating a safe place to start healing.
