Hello. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been practicing for over 10 years. I help children and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma. I also help kids who struggle with anger management and symptoms of ADHD. I have been using CBT, along with other therapies such as DBT and EMDR, to transform clients' lives for years. These therapies are very effective and I have been highly successful with them. We'll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We'll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life. DBT is a therapy that combines some CBT techniques for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, acceptance, effective communication, and mindful awareness. EMDR is eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. This is usually used to treat trauma but may be effective for other psychological issues as well.
