I am a licensed clinical social worker, and specialize in working with women and children with familial & parenting stress, new adjustments, trauma, anxiety & depression, and behavioral challenges. As a therapist, my purpose is to walk with you during life’s most challenging seasons, and help you feel relief, greater understanding, and begin healing. And we’ll do it at a pace that feels good for you. For children and teens I provide a place for creativity and play so they can explore their emotions and thoughts in a language that best suites them. My approach for children includes a mixture of play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques; as appropriate. For adults and older teens I provide an eclectic approach that draws on techniques based in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused approach.
