Let’s face it, sometimes life can be challenging which can hinder personal growth, happiness, relationships, quality of life, professional success, parenting among other things. You feel like you are spinning your wheels but not going anywhere. You feel exhausted, overwhelmed, anxious, sad and/or irritated. Effecting change takes work but YOU can master the skills to cope with these feelings and regain control of your life! You want to create meaningful changes but aren’t sure where to start. There is no magical solution, and, change takes work, however, YOU have the ability to make it happen. I believe in empowering and supporting clients to help them get from where they are now to where they want to be. We will work together to eliminate barriers to change, challenge maladaptive thinking, and learn new skills to allow you to find happiness. I have experience working with older adults, adults, (teens 17+), veterans, active-duty military and their families, college students, EMS personnel, and caregivers in the treatment of mental health and life transition issues, trauma, marital issues, interpersonal issues, deployment, military separation, reunification, divorce, work and school issues.
