
Stephen Drozda
I am a Licensed Psychologist in Colorado with over 40 years of experience in the mental health field as a therapist, evaluator, administrator and teacher in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, residential treatment centers, nursing facilities, and in my own private practice. I earned my Master's and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I provide therapy primarily from cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused orientations. I also incorporate dialectal behavior therapy when appropriate. I work with adults, including seniors, who are dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family or parenting problems, coping with trauma, and adjustment to life changes such as loss, health changes, or aging. In my work, My approach is an active, problem-solving one to help clients take practical steps to meet their goals. I strive to help clients define clear, achievable goals and practical steps to meet them.
