Steven Cospewicz
Steven Cospewicz is a compassionate and engaged listener specializing in anxiety, depression, and trauma. He has also worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ community in many contexts and has enjoyed volunteering for agencies geared towards helping further knowledge in the community. He was awarded the status of diplomate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by the developers of CBT, The Beck Institute. He has also been trained by the developers of Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Edna Foa, as well as Dr. Najavitz, while learning the evidence-based practice Seeking Safety aimed at those suffering from both trauma as well as substance and process addictions. Steven approaches he therapeutic interactions, when possible, with levity, as he believes laughter is so important when possible to incorporate. He always approaches therapy with evidence-based techniques, including interpersonal Psychotherapy, CBT, and Crisis Oriented Recovery Services. He is non-judgmental and is always kind. Outside of the therapeutic context, Steven identifies as a digital nomad and enjoys traveling often and to places he has not yet been. He also enjoys working on artistic endeavors, including content creation, photography, music, and study.
