Have you been diagnosed with cancer? Has a loved one of yours been diagnosed with cancer? Hi, I'm Susan and I have been working with individuals facing cancer for the past 25 years. I know how difficult it can be. I completed a master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and Music Therapy at Naropa University in 1998. In 2005 I co-founded the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance (COCA, now CGCA) and facilitated over 1,000 ovarian cancer support groups. I work with cancer patients, survivors & thrivers as well as spouses, family & friends. Taking a holistic view of the cancer experience, together we can address your: initial trauma and shock of diagnosis changes in relationships changes in sense of self deep emotions fear of death spiritual questions of meaning in life. I provide a safe space to explore your stress, questions and fears, your challenges, anxieties, depression, anger and grieving. My practice is BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ friendly. Sessions are held by teletherapy online. We'll start with an assessment to see where you are in the timeframe since diagnosis, what issues you have encountered, and which ones are most challenging for you right now. Then we'll create a plan together for moving forward with therapy. Our work will be collaborative and focused on awareness, coping and insight. Schedule a free, 15-minute initial consultation to begin a path of balance and peace in your life.
