I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master of Social Work degree from the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois in Chicago. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I have extensive experience working with people who are dealing with symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder. I like to provide strategies and instill hope for feeling better in the very first session. I believe in building a partnership with my clients and empowering them to make positive changes in their lives, as well as helping them to just feel better! I am passionate about mental health care being accessible to all people without barriers or fears getting in the way. I provide a warm, safe, judgment-free environment, while at the same time giving you strategies and tools to use in the real world to help you meet your goals for therapy. You will hopefully leave my sessions feeling a little lighter and empowered like you have some new ideas to try over the next week or two before you see me again. We usually come up with some goals, which I will send in messaging after our session.
