I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida who helps individuals, families, and communities cope with life's obstacles and relational conflicts to work towards thriving instead of surviving. I earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Tulane University. I also have a Mental Health, Addiction, and the Family Certificate. As an Officer in the military, I learned that helping the people I led overcome life was my passion and gift. I learned that minor issues become more significant if they are not appropriately resolved. I aim to use my knowledge and skills to empower individuals, families, and communities to become their best versions. I do this work to provide access and awareness to populations who seldom take advantage of the life-changing solutions that therapy and coaching offer. I approach therapy from a person-in-environment perspective. I emphasize understanding an individual’s behavior based on various environmental factors. I provide a unique balance of person-centered psychotherapy and scientific insight to guide the therapeutic journey. I intend to create a space that allows you to be your true self. The environment is one of mutual respect and honest and open communication. You will assisted in understanding you have everything within to accomplish the goals established during treatment.
