Hi! My name is Dr. Teresa Jackson, DNP, FNP-BC, APRN, PMHNP-BC I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over 23 years having demonstrated leadership in collaboration with multidisciplinary colleagues; identifying population needs and community resources; and providing health promotion, disease prevention, and health care management across the lifespan of communities I serve. I obtained my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner post-graduate degree at Wilkes University in 2022. I graduated with my Doctor of Nursing in 2013 at the University of Alabama with Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honors. I have obtained my Masters degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Miami in 1999. I've been board certified since 2000 with The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and board certified since 2022 with the credential of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with American Nurses Credentialing Center.
 
I manage children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with psychiatric disorders such as : depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar depression, eating disorders, PTSD, ADHD, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, mood disorder, adjustment disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, conduct disorder, opioid-related disorder, alcoholism, cannabis-related disorder, Alzheimer’s disease, transgender, and gender dysphoria.

Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
