I am so happy you are here! My name is Teresa and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with adolescents and young adults via telehealth. I also work with parents who are looking to learn more about their child's behavior and how to better support them. I received my Master's degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio, completed my residency in Virginia, and I am now back in the state of Texas! My goal is to provide you with your own safe space by building a healthy and trusting therapeutic relationship. You are the driver and I am the passenger. I go at your own pace. I adapt to my client’s needs and individual goals, after all therapy interventions are not a “one size fits all”. My priority is that you feel safe and comfortable before, during, and after sessions. You will build your own therapeutic journey and I will be here every step of the way to help you feel confident in your journey and progress.

The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. We aim to include only high quality providers and multiple viable options for those seeking care.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
