I'm a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Board Certified Art Therapist working with people who experience depression, anxiety, and PTSD including people who identify as neuro-diverse, Autistic, Disabled, and have complex medical diagnoses. Before opening my private practice in central New York I provided Art Therapy in private and public New York City schools. I have an MA (Art Therapy) from New York University, 2019, and a BA (Painting) from Rhode Island School of Design, 2003. My approach centers client's strengths while engaging in creative processes to practice regulation, relationship, and insight. Art therapy can allow you to explore your feelings and work through your experiences on a somatic (bodily) level, and provide an opportunity to practice skills that you can use in your daily life to process experiences and cope. It can help integrate trauma and expand your innate resilience.
