It’s also about a possessing a genuine concern for the patient and their pain.” Vonda Warren-Lilly strives to bring an effective blend of experience, expertise, clarity, concern and action to the therapy process in order to maximize outcomes and provide genuine healing and wholeness to individuals, marriages and families. Vonda holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations, a minor in Psychology, a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Community and Mental Health Counseling, is a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Professional (LSATP), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). Vonda has 22+ years of experience in providing counseling in a variety of settings, including individual birth homes, foster care homes, juvenile detention centers, and an outpatient clinic setting. She has served as Program Manager for community-based agencies and serves as the clinical manager of a Community Services Board where outpatient, case management and psychiatry services are provided. She oversees the State Opioid Response program and assists in providing oversight of the Rural Community Opioid Response Program, multi-year initiatives that addresses barriers to treatment for substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder (OUD). While personally navigating through “life,” Vonda has discovered that the only difference between individuals is “how” they choose to handle “what” they deal with. This allows her to understand that none is exempt from needing help from time to time, which not only makes her excited, but eager to assist others in discovering the underlying issues that explain the presenting concerns that has led them to get help. Vonda specializes in areas of depression, anxiety, couples therapy and counseling for women who have self-image and identity issues. Vonda understands that there are certain elements necessary in the counseling process required in order to maintain a space of positivity, growth, and healing. She also understands that it is essential that she provides a judgment-free space that is challenging but consoling, and a process that is educative as well as retrospective.
