Wendy Mcneal
Wendy McNeal is a compassionate therapist with over 25 years of mental health experience. She has been working in private practice since 2013. She received her Master's degree in Social Work in 2008, and became a licensed clinical social worker. She incorporates the NASW Code of Ethics in all client interactions. Her ethical code guides her clinical practice and serves as a framework for all counseling interventions. She is committed in helping individuals reach their goals through evidence-based interventions. Wendy specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She treats the following issues: Depression, Anxiety, Anger, Adjustment Disorders, ADHD management, Low Self-Esteem, Grief/Loss, and Trauma. She believes that counseling is a comprehensive process that involves self-determination and guidance in navigating through problems and inner conflict. Her clinical work experience has provided opportunities to build an extensive knowledge base that offers clients a "safe space" that is warm, compassionate and non-judgmental. Wendy is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Wendy enjoys playing music with her friends and family, gardening, and baking. Wendy strives to maintain a healthy work-life balance and encourages her clients to embrace balance and wellness to the best of their ability.
