My name is Willie Palmer, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have been in the counseling field for more than 20 years, and have vast experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I entered this field to help individuals and families get past obstacles to enjoying life to the fullest. I have maintained a great success rate with helping clients learn how to navigate issues by teaching effective tools to achieve treatment goals. I believe in listening to the client to accurately assess needs, and to determine effective strategies to problem solving. I am also able to assess the need for further referrals such as medication evaluations or more specialized treatment. I use and eclectic approach to therapy by borrowing from a number of proven theoretic approaches including but not limited to CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Approaches. When your mental health is at stake, it is important to seek out a professional individual who really cares, and can provide the expertise that will yield optimal results. The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. We aim to include only high quality providers and multiple viable options for those seeking care.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.
