Yolanda Morales
I am a licensed mental health clinician in the state of Florida. I earned a Master of Social Work degree with a specialty in clinical practice from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I have over 20 years of clinical experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, adjustment disorders, insomnia, trauma, and relationship issues. I am deeply committed in helping my clients promote, restore and maintain their emotional well-being. My practice is person-centered and tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. I use a holistic and interactive multicultural approach. At my practice we work toward empowered healing by replacing negative thoughts and behaviors with more functional coping skills. I believe an integrative psychotherapy approach is necessary including a broad array of modalities: strengths-based/solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and positive psychology. We will work collaboratively in identifying your main clinical concerns. I will provide you with feedback on clinical impressions and what interventions may work well for you as per your treatment goals. I believe that you can flourish with the given effort to cultivate your unique strengths, develop meaningful relationships and achieve goals aligned to core values. I will help you discover new perspectives, plus learn practical tools to help navigate your life with greater joy and resilience.
