Zavel Philip is an LPC and a LCDAC. She has a BA and a MA in Psychology. Also, she attended the Multicultural Family Institute for one year of family systems training. Additional training that she has attained included the American Clinical Supervisor credential and she a Parenting Journey 1 facilitator. Zavel uses a strength-based, client-centered, collaborative, and holistic approach that considers the person’s mind, body, spirit and worldview. Zavel views the therapeutic relationship as an opportunity to help the client grow in all aspects of their life and heal from any pain that they have endured with an evidence based- solution focused lens. As a foundation for all her work, Zavel fosters a safe, warm, non-judgmental environment that enables the client to feel empowered and supported in their journey towards healing and achieving their future goals. Client's should walk away from the session feeling heard, empowered and motivated to work towards the goals that we set for therapy. Clients will return to session feeling comfortable to share their progress or challenges with reaching their goals knowing that I will actively listen to help the client identify what barriers are impacting them. By termination, the client will notice an improvement in their quality of life and feel excited to fully live their life.
