My unique background in the arts and healthcare guides an innovative and holistic psychiatric practice that stands out from the generic approach of many psychiatrists. My career and education in the US and Europe has given me much depth of perspective. I enjoy working across a range of ages, backgrounds, and clinical pictures. I am particularly devoted to working with LGBTQIA+ communities, sex workers, artists, and/ or creatives. I also welcome work specifically with young adults (18-22). My approach is individualized and comprehensive to all aspects of your life and health. I see you as more than your current problems and symptoms; I take a holistic view that includes relationships, family issues and history, your interests, strengths, and life philosophy. At the same time, I prescribe medication as needed and track your progress with cutting-edge technology to get you where you'd like to be as quickly as possible. Most patients see me weekly. I believe in a holistic and intelligent use of medicine to benefit my patients as well as non-pharmacological approaches (e.g., light therapy, exercise, meditation). We'll discuss your needs and feelings in relation to our work together all along the way. I respect you as someone different from me and I have a keen interest in listening to your story.
